The announcement from Fox 61’s Tony Terzi that he is leaving television to work as a communications specialist at Meriden City Hall appears to mark the end of a Connecticut broadcast dynasty.

Beginning with his father, former anchorman Al Terzi(WFSB, WTNH, Fox 61) – the Terzi name has been part of Connecticut broadcasting for more than five decades.

The Laurel has been unable to independently confirm whether any other Terzis are in the Connecticut TV pipeline, but if they are they will probably have good references.
