Good Monday morning. The first day of November, meaning it’s almost 2022 and nearing the end of the second full year of the Covid era.

With one day to go before a historic mayoral election in Boston here’s the Boston Herald’s look ahead to the first 100 days of the next administration.

Erika Aguilar will start as the new executive producer of NPR’s Morning Edition beginning next week. Current.org has an interview in which she says her job is to imagine what the show is to evolve into five to ten years from now.

When White House press secretary and Connecticut native Jen Psaki announced Sunday that she had tested positive for Covid-19 she said she made the news public out of “an abundance of transparency.” You might also say, when it comes to transparency, Psaki is using “a belt and suspenders.” We wish her and her family a speedy and full recovery as she works from home with what are described as minor symptoms.
