Some news from Fox 61…
- Angelica Spanos joins WTIC-TV in Hartford as a reporter for the morning newscast. Spanos comes from Salisbury, Md., where she was a reporter at WBOC.
- Another Terzi has joined the Fox family. Tony Terzi will join his dad Al (Anchor and “The Real Story” co-host) reporting for the morning and 4 pm news.
- We reported last week that Fox CT was kicking off a 5 pm newscast today, but didn’t know that this meant a move to the anchor desk for political reporter Laurie Perez (4 pm news with Brent Hardin). Our immediate question was whether she was leaving the state capitol beat but we’re told she will continue to report.
- Meteorologist Rachel Frank is engaged. While visiting her grandparents in Las Vegas, she said “yes” to Aram Bolduc, an East Coast sales manager for a tech company. (They met at CrossFit – we wish them many years of wedded bliss, burpees and thrusters).
Lot of quick comments- seems I remember mentioning that when ‘Big Al’ was available a certain FOXCT station was in need of a 5PM newscast and anchor — super job ‘opening Night’ and he’s finally with Tony a good family team.. Fox News in general has to tighten the repeating stories in the long morning block I counted one story without a single word change ran 4 times this morning… they never did that.. Ah ha seems a certain Miss Frank is now engaged, they look like a fun couple.. all the luck friend. (Now you’ll win an Emmy for Radiance and Happiness).
