FOX61 has hired Angelo Bavaro from WBOC-TV in Salisbury, Maryland, where he was reporter and weekend anchor. He will start Monday, March 30.
Bavaro’s assignments included breaking news, the world-famous Chincoteague Island pony swim and coverage from the state capitals in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
“We’re excited to have Angelo join the FOX61 Morning News team,” said Liz Godbout, FOX61 Vice President of News. “Angelo is a strong storyteller and we look forward to him contributing to Connecticut’s only All Local All Morning newscast and on all our FOX61 social platforms.”
