This weekend marks the retirement of Bob Schieffer as host of CBS’s Face the Nation.
We came across an interesting interview with Schieffer this week on the Diane Rehm Show. A bit different from all the others you’ll be seeing and hearing over the next few days because of the intimacy of radio and the friendship between Schieffer and Rehm.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will be among Schieffer’s final guests on Sunday’s program.
Kala Rama, who got her start as an assignment editor at WTNH and later worked as a reporter at WWLP in Springfield, has landed a job as a reporter for WABC in New York City. Her husband, Anthony DiLorenzo, is a reporter for WPIX. The couple met while working at WWLP.
