Global Post, the aspirational international news site launched in 2009 in Boston, is being sold to WGBH.
News businessman and Global Post founder Philip Balboni said last week that despite his site’s success as a news organization, it never made money. Now, that high quality journalism and the people who help produce it, will be merged into WGBH’s international group.
