George Colli made a big mark in Connecticut as a member of NBC CT’s Troubleshooters team; he helped the station win a duPont by breaking the initial “crumbling foundation” stories. In 2016 he moved to Washington, D.C. when Cox Media Group hired him to be its D.C. correspondent. Now comes the news that Colli will be reporting to work at 8 Elm Street in New Haven. WTNH General Manager Rich Graziano has brought George back to the Connecticut market as lead investigative reporter for News 8, starting on-air Monday 10/30. Another move that demonstrates Graziano puts a premium on established local personalities.
