Members of the Connecticut House of Representatives did not get a good night’s sleep last night, because they were up all night trying to put together a budget by midnight tonight.
Those with an interest in such matters may have been surprised to log on to the CTN website early this morning to see lawmakers beginning debate around 5:30a.m. and just getting started really when this screen shot was taken just before 8a.m.
Without commenting on the merits of the bill, it is fair to say the lack of sleep was having an impact on the clarity of the oratory.
