You know you’re a state capitol veteran if, when Judd Everhart’s name is mentioned, you think of him as the Associated Press’ capitol bureau chief. But that was many years (and administrations) ago. Since then Judd has served as then-Governor Rell’s press secretary and currently heads communications at the state DOT. But he has just assumed another title: that of Grandpa. Daughter Amy (who used to sell Girl Scout cookies at the Capitol) lives in Austin and just gave birth to Reed Everhart Davis, pictured here with Judd and wife/grandmother Becky. Congratulations!
