Connecticut journalism fixture Rick Green is now Communications Director for a state agency. He has joined the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, reporting to Commissioner Ronnell Higgins. The State Police operate within this agency but will continue to have their own spokespeople. Rick recently left Hearst as Managing Editor of state news. He worked at WTNH before that, but is best known for his long tenure at the Hartford Courant.
