We live in a strange time.
A major American cable television network, known as Fox News, regularly broadcasts disinformation to a very receptive segment of the U.S. population, knowing the information is wrong.
Part of that audience, openly cheers on Russian President Vladimir Putin as he invades his neighbor. Part of that audience consists of Republicans, who for decades, have held up the former Soviet Union and Russia as an enemy of America.
Into this breach steps long-time Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin who is fighting her own on-air war against hosts on her own network who appear to be more interested in using the war in Ukraine as a political issue – to rile the audience – than reporting the news.
