Last week the Hartford Business Journal sent out a press release announcing that it was recently honored with two national journalism awards for its reporting on breaking news by the Alliance of Area Business Publications at its annual Summer Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
Greg Bordonaro, editor, was recognized with a silver award for his Back9 Deal report in the “best print scoop category.” In addition, Bordonaro and managing editor, Brad Kane won a silver award in the “best online scoop category” for their story on Farmington law firm Levy & Droney PC dissolving and its top lawyers moving to Hinckley, Allen & Snyder in Hartford.
The annual Editorial Excellence Awards competition recognizes excellence in journalism, photography and design achieved by regional business publications.
