With all eyes on the weather in Houston, Hearst Newspapers is at the center of the storm.
The company has reinvested in journalism in recent years and managers at the chain’s Houston paper believe the investment is paying off, not just in terms of this week’s storm coverage, but as part of a long term business plan.
The story may be good news for Connecticut where Hearst now owns more than half a dozen daily papers stretching from Greenwich to Middletown.
