Two heritage AM radio stations in Fairfield County are at least temporarily off the air.
WSTC and WNLK, based in Stamford and Norwalk(you guess which is which), were pulled off the air this week by the WSHU Public Radio Group.
STC and NLK were purchased by the WSHU group in 2013. Both stations have been declared unprofitable by their new owner and shut down. WSHU is looking for a buyer.
