The FCC is reportedly slowing its approval process for the sale of Tribune Media to Sinclair Broadcast Group. The delay is to allow the two station groups to work out the station sales necessary to win final approval.
Tribune owns Fox 61 and WCCT in Connecticut. If the deal goes through there is the potential for personnel changes and programming changes for Connecticut viewers of both stations. Neither station is on the list of those that must be sold to complete the transaction.
