Hoffman Leaves CNBC

    Mark Hoffman, the former general manager of what is now known as NBC CT(formerly generally known as WVIT, or channel 30) is leaving his position as chairman of CNBC.

    His official departure date is September 12. He will be succeeded by K.C. Sullivan who is currently NBC’s director of global advertising and partnerships.

    Hoffman was with CNBC for 28 years.
