Judging by the photos above we would have thought these two were turning 25 rather than 50! Eyewitness News anchor and Face the State moderator Dennis House, and meteorologist Scot Haney, are both celebrating their 50th birthdays in the upcoming days.
On Thursday, House will commemorate reaching the half-century mark with a party at Hartford City Hall. All proceeds from the party will go to Interval House, an organization dedicated to providing services to prevent family and intimate partner abuse.
Then on Saturday, Haney will be channeling Don Draper with his “Mad Men” themed “Party Like it’s 1964 Celebration” at Glastonbury Hills Country Club. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Channel 3 Kids Camp in Andover and Coventry.
We just hope that after all this hard partying over the weekend that the WFSB team will make it into work on Monday to give us the news.
