Connecticut resident and host of Morning Joe, on MSNBC, Joe Scarborough says Donald Trump’s convincing wins in Tuesday’s primaries are “a humiliating defeat” for the country’s media and political elite.
Scarborough, who has been criticized at times during this campaign for seeming to be a Trump booster, argues the lords of conventional wisdom have doubted Trump’s appeal at every step of the way and are still attempting to explain away, or even deny his success.
Scarborough, by the way, has insisted he has treated all candidates equally during his coverage of this year’s race, but has been more willing than others to accept the reality of Trump and his message.
