Don’t know why, but we’ve been thinking about former 60 Minutes correspondent Ed Bradley lately. Missing his storytelling and his style. As it turns out he is making news in his hometown of Philadelphia. West Philadelphia to be specific.
A giant mural depicting Bradley will be unveiled later this year on the 11th anniversary of his death. Coincidentally, Bradley did a 60 Minutes story on the Southbury Training School, back in the 1990’s(See: Holt Documentary).
CNN sibling HLN has unveiled new branding and a new mission. The network plans to center its coverage around stories generated within the United States. As The Laurel noted several weeks ago, the network’s new anchor line up is entirely women, including Erica Hill a native of Clinton, Connecticut.
