We’re sure there must be plenty of people in Connecticut newsrooms who could benefit from some advice on avoiding information overload in the digital age. We are wired like never before.
Next Wednesday, November 12, Quinnipiac University is sponsoring a panel discussion on “Your Health in the Digital Age” with an emphasis on our heavy interaction with computers and other electronic information devices.
The panel will be moderated by former ABC World News anchor Charles Gibson. Dr. Timothy Johnson, ABC News senior medical contributor and WTNH health reporter Jocelyn Maminta are on the panel along with Stephen Wikel, chair of the Department of Medical Sciences at Quinnipiac.
The forum begins at 11:30a.m. in the auditorium at the Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Quinnipiac’s North Haven campus. It’s free and open to the public.
