At noon Monday, The Rock, WCCC 106.9, was re-born on the Internet.
Mike Karolyi, formerly of WCCC, and Connecticut radio legend Dick Robinson put a plan together to re-create 106.9 and its sound. The result is iRockRadio.com.
During the first afternoon of Internet broadcasting the new station paid tribute to WCCC-FM, which was purchased earlier this year by a Christian broadcasting company.
