Last week’s rumor is today’s news – with Erik Schrader leaving as WTNH’s News Director, Managing Editor Al Carl is moving up to take his place after 15 months at the station. From the official press release:
Carl is not new to the position of News Director. He has led newsrooms in Savannah, Huntsville and Omaha. He started his television career as an anchor/reporter and producer in markets in Nebraska and Iowa before moving into management. Carl has worked as an Executive Producer, Managing Editor, and Assistant News Director in multiple cities, including Saginaw, Albany, and two stations in Kansas City, Missouri.
