Former News 12 Connecticut Capitol reporter Jim Murphy is dead at the age of 84.
The affable newsman began his journalism career in print working for the Bergen Record, Newsday, and the Los Angeles Times before switching the television.
Not surprisingly, Jim’s obituary suggests that in lieu of flowers donations should be made to “local community members in need.” Did we mention he was also kind.
