The CT Mirror’s new Justice Reporter comes from an in-state publication. Emilia Otte was previously a reporter and deputy editor at CT Examiner. In her new role “she will cover the justice system in Connecticut, including law enforcement, immigration, courts, incarceration and juvenile justice,” according to a story in the Mirror.
In 2021 she won the “Rookie of the Year” award from the New England Newspaper and Press Association.
