In a very personal social media post over the weekend WTNH meteorologist Sam Kantrow announced he is leaving the TV business. He has been with the station for 13 years.
Kantrow said he is making the decision from the perspective of what is best for his three children. As a single father, he says the schedule required for his TV job is not in their best interest. In his post, he did not say what he will do next professionally, but said he would not be surprised to find himself on camera again someday…just not now.
