As many Laurel readers know, WFSB’s Kara Sundlun has written a book about her very interesting life story and eventual connection with her biological father, Bruce Sundlun, the former governor of Rhode Island.
Kara has written an honest and fascinating account of the struggles she had in search of her true family identity. She explains how after a battle that included a lawsuit against her father, the two reconciled and developed a close relationship.
The book, “Finding Dad: From ‘Love Child’ to Daughter,” is scheduled for release on Veterans’ Day. Kara gave one of her first interviews to Mary Ellen Fillo of the Hartford Courant.
