A familiar weather voice in Connecticut has passed.
Former WTIC radio and television meteorologist Ken Garee of Ashford is dead at age 85.
After serving in the Army he joined the Travelers Weather Service which led to a broadcast career in Connecticut. He died Monday of this week and a funeral service is scheduled for Saturday.
