Keith Kountz of News 8 will moderate a panel on racial profiling next week at Quinnipiac University.
The event is part of Black History Month at the school. “Liberty and Justice for All: Exploring Racial Profiling,” will be held at 7p.m., Wednesday, February 4 in the Mount Carmel Auditorium at the Mount Carmel Campus. There’s no cost to get in.
The panel will include the Rev. Kennedy Hampton of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church; Tanya Hughes, executive director of the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities; Donald Sawyer, assistant professor of sociology at Quinnipiac; and Lt. J. Paul Vance, commanding officer of the Connecticut State Police Public Information Office.
