Governor-elect Ned Lamont has delivered a holiday gift to the state’s press corps by naming Colleen Flanagan Johnson as a Senior Advisor. In that role she will oversee communications along with other policy and legislative duties. Colleen is a pro who has worked in the Governor’s office before (as Malloy’s Communications Director, 2010-2011) and understands what reporters need to do their job. She comes to the Lamont administration from Cigna where she worked in Executive Communications and before that at Magellan Health. Her previous work experience also includes the office of former Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd where she worked alongside Lamont’s newly-appointed Chief of Staff Ryan Drajewicz from 2006-2010.

Welcome back to the capitol, Colleen.
