Ned Lamont may be one of the least controversial governors in recent Connecticut history, but that didn’t keep him safe from anti-mask parents at a public meeting in Chesire. The State Police did.
Lamont’s security detail had to escort him quickly to his waiting car Wednesday as parents, protesting school mask policies, rudely, crudely, and with little regard for the public health of others, confronted the governor, got in his face, and disrupted what had been set up to be an informative meeting.
Fun Fact: If you are wearing a mask today it is mostly because others have refused to wear them before – and they are still refusing while you do your part to control the spread of Covid, protect yourself, and others. The pro-Covid crowd is not fighting for anyone’s freedom they are taking away the freedoms of others by refusing to do their part.
