We watched Laurie Perez on her last day on-air for Fox CT. She’s been co-anchoring the 4 pm newscast lately but earned her stripes as the station’s political reporter, hosting the Sunday morning interview program “The Real Story”. Laurie is a Connecticut native and spent 14 years at “Fox 61”; her reporting always reflected genuine interest in –and concern for — the state. Her husband, Jeff Collette, is taking a job at the NFL network in California and Laurie will join an LA television station next month. Best wishes, Laurie…you’ll be missed.
