News 8 in New Haven has a new news director.
The station announced Friday that Keith Connors, most recently of WTHR in Indianopolis, Indiana, will begin work in New Haven February 16. Previously Connors served as news director at KHOU in Houston and WCNC in Charlotte. Both important stations in their respective markets.
Connors is replacing Al Carl who is leaving WTNH to take over as news director of KSNT in Topeka, Kansas. WTNH and KSNT are sister stations owned by the same company.
