It what has become a rare investment in local television news, NBC Connecticut has produced a one hour documentary to air August 12 at 7p.m.
The documentary is centered on Connecticut forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee and his role in what was found to the wrongful murder conviction of two men in the 1980s. The sentences of the two men convicted in the case were vacated in 2020 and in 2023 Lee was found liable for fabricating evidence, an accusation he denies. The documentary includes an interview with Lee.
