WFSB reporter Julie Leonardi is moving to Denver.
She’s taken an assignment as a freelance reporter for KDVR. She is a native of Cape Cod and before working for WFSB she also worked at WGGB in Springfield and as a production assistant at ESPN.
Leonardi will not be the first WFSB staffer to work in Denver. Channel 3 morning anchor Irene O’Connor spent several years in Denver before moving back to Hartford. And back in the last century(1987), Mike Fierberg left Hartford for Denver and was one of many reporters on the scene of the Columbine High School shooting years later.
