Former Hartford Courant Washington, D.C. bureau chief David Lightman has been selected as the president of the Gridiron Club, according to CT News Junkie.
Lightman was with the Courant from 1984 to 2007. He now works with McClatchy Newspapers. The Gridiron Club is the oldest journalism club in Washington.
