For a deal that was supposed to be on a fast track, the proposed merger between Sinclair Broadcast Group and Tribune Media seems to be running into fresh road blocks.
Opponents of the Sinclair buyout of Tribune are now focusing on Sinclair’s plans to spin-off certain stations to stay within multi-station ownership rules. The proposed Sinclair deal could have an impact on what Connecticut viewers see because Tribune Media owns Fox 61 and WCCT.
