Now that concern over the ramifications of a Media General/Meredith merger have passed in the Connecticut market there are new reports of possible station swapping involving Tribune and Meredith.
Several reports indicate Meredith is interested in buying some of Tribune’s television properties. While Hartford is not cited specifically in any of these reports – it’s a story worth watching for its possible unintended consequences.
