Well known Connecticut developer Martin Kenny has died at age 67. The Hartford Business Journal reports he died of a heart attack Saturday morning.
Over the last three decades Kenny managed projects which created thousands of new apartment dwellings throughout the state, but primarily in the Hartford area. Friends and business partners told the HBJ they will honor his legacy by completing unfinished projects in his name.
Since the 1990s, Kenny was an important part of the redevelopment story of downtown Hartford. His interaction with the Connecticut news media was frequent.
