On Wednesday Patch announced another round of layoffs in the state. According to The Hartford Courant, one employee estimated the layoffs to be up to three-fourths of Connecticut employees. Employees were notified via conference call just two weeks after AOL sold the majority stake of Patch to an investment company. The layoffs came five months after Patch eliminated about 500 jobs nationwide.
