Former WTNHer Scott McDonnell is no longer with 12 News in Phoenix.
He had been the morning anchor there, it looked as if he was being re-assigned to another show and then it never happened. When the Arizona Republic got around to asking what happened to him the station gave the typical response in instances like this:
“Scott McDonnell is no longer with 12 News,” Ivan Hernandez, the station’s news director, told The Arizona Republic Tuesday night. “We appreciate Scott’s contributions to the station and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Which reminds us of the old George Burns line: “Sincerity, if you can fake that you’ve got it made.”
