Veteran CTNewsJunkie reporter Hugh McQuaid is leaving the daily news site to take a position with the Senate Democratic caucus at the state Capitol.
The move marks a turning point for McQuaid and CTNewsJunkie.
As McQuaid leaves, two new freelancers are joining the NewsJunkie team. They are: Jamil Ragland and Hudson Kamphausen. Both will be getting to work quickly covering the legislative session.
