The Board of Trustees for Connecticut Public has new leadership.
Yvette Melendez has been elected chair. George Norfleet will serve as vice chair.
Melendez is the first Latina of Puerto Rican descent to lead the board. She succeeds Greg Butler. Melendez is the president of YMR consulting, which specializes in board governance. Norfleet is executive director of Connecticut’s Office of Film, Television and Digital Media.
