A Meredith Corporation shareholder has filed suit in federal court in an effort to stop the company’s planned merger with Media General.
The suit has been filed in U.S. District Court in Iowa.
It claims the Meredith/Media General deal will be great for Meredith executives, but bad for shareholders. The transaction has been on hold in recent weeks as several interested parties try to block it.
If the deal goes through it could lead to the sale of either WFSB or WTNH.
