The Laurel has learned Phil Zachary, vice president and market manager for Entercom’s radio stations in the Hartford market, is moving back to Washington, D.C. to take control of the company’s four stations there.
Zachary hasn’t been in this market long and according to sources close to the company this move was unanticipated even by Zachary himself. On the other hand, this is a return trip to Washington for Zachary who managed the same stations when they were owned by CBS.
Entercom stations in Hartford include: WTIC-AM/FM, WZMX and WRCH.
