Rochester news anchor Don Alhart has been officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest serving male news anchor.
He has been on the air with WHAM since 1966. That’s fifty-seven years. He began with the station right after he graduated from Ithaca College. He is 79 years old and still anchors the news at 6 and 11.
