MaryEllen Fillo has the scoop on some new faces at WVIT.
NBC Connecticut (WVIT Channel 30) has added a veteran anchor/journalist from Philadelphia
and a former WTNH assignment editor to its ranks.
Kerri-Lee Mayland will begin her on-air duties on Dec. 13.
With Fox 29 in Philadelphia for thepast eight years, Mayland also did reporting and anchor duties for Fox in Boston and Washington. Mayland has also taught broadcast courses at Temple University.
Michael Crowley, former evening assignment editor at WTNH Channel 8, will join WVIT on Nov. 29 as an assignment editor. Before working at the New Haven station, Crowley worked assignment desks in Tampa, Fla , Baltimore and the metropolitan New York area.

i hope you are not replacing lisa carburg with kerri lee.lisa is very sexual appealing and a very talented reporter. i will not watch another news cast if lisa is not there.
