NBC CT will be adding Kerri-Lee Mayland to its weekday morning news team as co-anchor on NBC Connecticut Today and the NBC Connecticut News at 11. Mayland joined the CT station in 2010 after anchoring at WTXF in Philadelphia; she has also worked in many major markets including Boston, Washington and Phoenix.
Mayland will replace Yvonne Nava who announce that she will be retuning home to Texas to be close to her family.
Congrats KL on your promotion!!! Will miss seeing you with Shirley and Darren on weekend mornings but now look forward to watching you on weekday mornings with brad, bob and Kyla.

Todd Piro should join Shirley and Darren on weekend mornings in place of KL. Todd and Shirley can then split the weekday morning ‘Update Desk’ assignment.
