The good folks at 1422 New Britain Avenue in West Hartford have suffered long enough; we’re talking about the employees of WVIT (NBC30) who have worked in, shall we say, less-than-palatial digs for a long time. The newsroom renovation nine years ago helped, but now the joint is really moving into the 21st century. The Courant takes an in depth look today at WVIT’s new digs in West Hartford. The space is very impressive and will allow WVIT to produce a variety of content, including talk shows and game shows, for television, the Web and other media.
