Ladies and gentlemen, New Britain has a new minor league baseball team.
Although we don’t have all the details yet it looks as if New Britain went no more than a day without its own team. The Rock Cats played their last home game on Sunday. Tuesday – the Atlantic League announced plans to bring a new team to the city.
Team name: TBA.
This has the potential to create an even stronger minor league fan base in the capital region. Great news because the New Britain stadium is too nice to go empty.
