The first issue of New Haven Biz magazine is out. It’s the October issue. It comes from the publishers of the Hartford Business Journal.
Earlier this week we told you about a new magazine due out in March covering the LGBTQ community in Connecticut.
Both cases illustrate what we like to call the content paradox. While old style magazines, newspapers, and newscasts trying to cover the world and be the “paper of record” are having trouble surviving in the digital world, niche publications, whether online or in print or broadcast, can find an audience big enough to thrive on.
